Abstract

ABSTRACT Organizational performance at the Office of Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority (KsOP) Class III Tanjung Wangi has shown positive results, as evidenced by the achievement of work plans reaching 90–100 percent. This success is closely linked to the positive performance of Civil Servants (PNS) working at the office. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment, compensation, and motivation on the performance of civil servants at the KsOP Class III Tanjung Wangi Office. The study involved a population of 69 active civil servants, using a quantitative method with a saturated sampling technique and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that, partially, compensation and motivation significantly affect employee performance, while the work environment does not have a significant effect. Although a comfortable workplace, adequate facilities, and good interpersonal relationships are viewed positively, they do not directly influence performance. However, the variables of work environment, compensation, and motivation simultaneously have a significant impact on employee performance. This suggests that employee performance tends to improve when the work environment is conducive, compensation is adequate, and there is strong motivation from leadership. The coefficient of determination shows that these three variables collectively contribute 55.7% to employee performance, while the remaining 44.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: work environment, compensation, motivation, employee performance
