Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to know the effects of motivation, locus of control, income expectation and student perceptions of systematizing with accounting comprehension as moderating variables. The population in this study was an active student of the 6th and 8th semester, the accounting program of the jember university, and the mandala institute of technology and science. The study used a team-taking technique of a saturated sample using the slovin formula and thus obtained 73 samples. The data analysis methods used are linear regression analysis and moderate regression analysis. The findings suggest that income expectations and university perceptions affect entrepreneurial interests. Whereas the motivation and locus of control are undiminished in entrepreneurial interests. Accounting understanding can modernize income expectation relationships for entrepreneurial interests. And accounting understanding cannot modernize motivational relationships, locus of control and student perceptions of entrepreneurship interests.
