Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the physical work environment, communication and competence as well as individual characteristics on employee performance. In this study, data were collected using tools in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires to 93 respondents using a census technique, which aims to determine respondents' perceptions of each variable. The analysis used includes data instrument tests (validity test and reliability test), multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), and hypothesis testing (F test, t test, coefficient of determination). From the results of the analysis using regression it can be seen that the physical work environment variables, communication, competence and individual characteristics, all have a positive effect on employee performance. From the t test, the results of the physical work environment, communication, competence and individual characteristics all have a significant effect on employee performance.
