Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine how the role of industrial centers on the welfare of society, as well as to determine the internal and external factors that exist in MSMEs. This study uses qualitative research and SWOT analysis to produce a strategy formulation. What is used in this research is primary data taken directly to the source without going through an intermediary. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this study get the results of the calculation of the IFAS matrix of 2.887 and the EFAS matrix of 2.989 which are applied to MSMEs in the (develop) position and the results of the calculation of the number of IFAS coordinates are 0.063 and EFAS are 0.269. Shows that the strength factor is greater than the weakness factor and the influence of the opportunity is greater than the threat. Therefore, the position of MSMEs is in quadra 1 or a very profitable position. So as to produce strategies that can take advantage of strengths to minimize weaknesses and take advantage of opportunities to overcome threats.
