Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of growth, liquidity and firm size on earnings management with profitability as an intervention variable in the 2016- 2020 Jakarta Islamic Index. The data used in this study is secondary data as an additional reference for these data which can be accessed directly via the internet. Data processing using SPSS 26 analysis tool. This research uses classical assumption test data analysis method, path analysis test, hypothesis test and influence calculation. The results showed that liquidity growth and firm size had no direct effect on earnings management. Growth has no direct effect on profitability. Liquidity and firm size have a direct effect on profitability. Profitability has a direct effect on earnings management. Growth, liquidity and firm size do not directly affect earnings management through profitability.
