Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine (1) to analyze the level of development inequality between districts in East Java Province (2) to classify development inequalities that occur between districts in East Java Province. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The subject of this research is East Java's GRDP, which aims to find inequality. The object of this research is East Java inequality. Data collection was carried out using the method of recording and collecting data. Analyzed using the analysis tool Microsoft Excel software and using the Klassen Typology and Williamson Index analysis method. The results of the study show that there is only 1 Regency that is included in Quadrant IV and East Java Province has increased inequality from year to year, in which case the government must be able to increase GRDP so that conditions inequality is not increasing.
