Abstract

ABSTRACT the open unemployment rate of jember district from year to year shows fluctuating development, while the index of human development In Jember District is quite high. Many factors influence the human development index including open unemployment and economic growth. this study aims to analyze open unemployment rate and economic growth affecting human development index. This research was conducted in Jember District with quantitative research type of secondary data. methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS v.20 software. The results of the study Partially economic growth does not affect the human development index in Jember, while open unemployment partially affect the indexhuman development in Jember Regency.open unemployment and economic growth are simultaneously affecting the human development index in Jember District. Keywords: index of human development, open unemployment, economic growth .
