Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze employee performance improvement strategies at PT Seger Agro Nusantara, Balung Jember Branch, using SWOT analysis. The quality of efficient and effective human resources is crucial in facing increasingly fierce business competition in the modern era. The main objective of this study is to identify employee performance improvement strategies and the SWOT analysis strategies implemented by PT Seger Agro Nusantara. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques utilize SWOT analysis, including IFAS (Internal Factors Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factors Analysis Summary) matrices. The findings indicate that PT Seger Agro Nusantara possesses higher internal strengths compared to its weaknesses, and greater external opportunities compared to threats. Based on the SWOT matrix analysis, the company's position is in Quadrant I, which signifies an aggressive strategy or Growth Strategy, specifically Stable Growth. This implies that the company has a favorable combination of strengths and opportunities, allowing it to leverage internal strengths to seize external opportunities. In conclusion, PT Seger Agro Nusantara adopts a comprehensive strategic approach to employee performance improvement, focusing on developing internal capabilities and capitalizing on external opportunities, to create a competent, motivated, and adaptive workforce that supports the achievement of business goals and the company's sustainability amidst the dynamic agribusiness market.
