Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid growth of the café industry requires improvements in service quality, particularly in customer reservation management. Omah Kopi Jember Café currently uses a manual reservation system that may cause various issues such as recording errors, delayed information, and double booking of tables. These problems affect operational efficiency and customer comfort. This study aims to design and develop a website-based reservation information system for Omah Kopi Jember Café to facilitate table reservations for customers and assist café management in managing reservation data accurately and systematically. This research employs a quantitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature study. The system is developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database, with system modeling using Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The results indicate that the developed website-based reservation information system improves reservation management efficiency, reduces recording errors, and provides convenience for customers to view table availability and make online reservations. Therefore, the system is expected to enhance service quality and customer experience at Omah Kopi Jember Café. Keywords: Information System, Reservation, Website, Café, PHP, MySQL
