Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the health level of People's Economic Banks (BPR) in Jember Regency for the period 2020-2024 using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital) in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with the research objects of 5 BPRs, namely PT. BPR Cinde Wilis, PT. BPR Nusamba Rambipuji, PT. Surya Kencana Jaya, PT. BPR Nur Semesta Indah, and PT BPR Mitra Jaya Mandiri. The data used is secondary data in the form of BPR financial reports registered with the OJK. The results of the study show that from the Risk Profile aspect, the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio, all BPRs are in the Healthy to Very Healthy category, but the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) ratio indicates liquidity problems in several BPRs that are classified as Less Healthy to Unhealthy. In terms of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), all rural banks (BPRs) received a composite rating of 2, in the Healthy category, indicating adequate implementation of the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsibility. In terms of Return on Assets (ROA) and Net Interest Margin (NIM), all BPRs were in a Healthy to Very Healthy condition, indicating their ability to generate stable profits. Meanwhile, in terms of Capital, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) indicator indicated that all BPRs were in the Very Healthy category, indicating strong capitalization.
