Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of tax consultants, including the obstacles and solutions, from the perspectives of the tax consultant, the consultant’s staff, and the client as a Taxpayer. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a sample of a tax consultant, staff members, and client representing Individual and Corporate Taxpayers. The results of this study indicate that tax consultants play a positive role by adhering to the code of ethics in assisting Taxpayers in fulfilling their tax obligations. However, their role is accompanied by several internal and external challenges. The role of the tax consultant in ensuring clients meet tax deadlines was perceived as less influential by the client in this study. Nonetheless, the tax consultant has been proven helpful in resolving the client's tax-related issues. Keywords: Tax Consultant, Fulfillment of Tax Obligations, Taxpayer
