Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify and formulate a strategy for developing the cabbage agribusiness sector to increase farmers' income in Krucil Village, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency. The method used is qualitative. By conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The research results show that internal factors contain 4 types of strengths and 3 weaknesses, while external factors contain 4 types of opportunities and 2 types of threats. So it can be concluded that Krucil Village farmers can have greater strengths so they can minimize existing weaknesses. Meanwhile, farmers can exploit the existing opportunities to develop agribusiness in Krucil Village compared to the threats they have. The strategy used is Taking advantage of opportunities to access training and assistance, Planting other crops that are more resistant to price fluctuations, Access to export markets or modern markets in big cities.
