Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of accountability, transparency, parental participation, organizational commitment, and characteristics of school financial managers on the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at elementary schools in Panti Sub-district. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative method using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The population of this study was all elementary schools in Panti Subdistrict totaling 84 people. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that accountability and transparency have no partial effect on the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds. Meanwhile, parental participation, organizational commitment, and characteristics of school financial managers partially affect the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds. Simultaneously, accountability, transparency, parental participation, organizational commitment, and characteristics of school financial managers affect the effectiveness of the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds.
