Abstract

This research aim to analyze the influence of Current Ratio (CR), Debt Asset Ratio (DAR), Working Capital Turnover, and Inventory Turnover to Return On Asset (ROA)simultaneously and partially and to know the effect of these variables to ROA at manufacturing company in Indonesia stock exchange and Malaysia stock exchange in 2011-2015.The technique of sampling used was purposive sampling. Sample used in this research were 36 companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange and 99 in companies Malaysia Stock Exchange. The data collecting techniques used in this research were document review. The data analysis techniques used were classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis test with F-statistic to examine the influences altogether, t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient, and Independent Samples T-test to tell the difference.The results showed that simultaneously in the Indonesia Stock Exchange variable CR, DAR, Working Capital Turnover, and ITR has no effect and not significant on ROA, but partially variable CR has an effect and significant on ROA. DAR, Working Capital Turnover and ITR has no effect and not significant on ROA. The result showed that simultaneously in the Malaysia Stock Exchange variable CR, DAR, Working Capital Turnover, and ITR has an effect and significant on ROA. Partially, CR dan DAR has an negative effect and significant on ROA, while the variable Working Capital Turnover and ITR has no effect and not significant on ROA. The Result of independent samples T-test is there is difference between ROA Indonesia Stock Exchange and Malaysia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015.
