Abstract

ABSTRAC PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk implements the People's Business Credit (KUR) program with the aim of empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from the micro segmentation through village empowerment programs. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the People's Business Credit (KUR) program distributed by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in encouraging the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gumukmas District, Jember Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research results show that the KUR program has a significant role in increasing access to capital for MSME players, which has an impact on increasing production and marketing. However, this research also identified several obstacles, such as complex administrative procedures and limitations in distributing information to potential credit recipients. Although the KUR program in Gumukmas District is effective in supporting the development of MSMEs, improvements are needed in administrative and socialization aspects to achieve more optimal results.
