Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in order to describe and examine the level of community participation in development through the local wisdom program in the Kepatihan Jember sub-district from the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation/monitoring and utilization of the results. This study used a descriptive qualitative method through a case study approach. This study used in-depth interviews with each informant. The results of this study indicate that the level of community participation in development through the local wisdom program in the Jember kepatihan sub-district is high, because of the 4 categories namely planning, implementation, evaluation and utilization of the results it is proven that the community in the kepatihan kelurahan is active in participating, and the level is high.
