Abstract
Abstract This study aims to prove whether competence, work environment and work motivation through work discipline have an influence on employee performance at the Bondowoso Regency Environmental Service. The population of this study were all civil servants at the Bondowoso Regency Environmental Service. The number of samples in this study were 125 respondents obtained using the Non Probability Sampling method with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted limited to the variable performance of employees of the Bondowoso Regency Environmental Service. The research method used is a survey method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The collected data were analyzed using Path Analysis techniques. The results showed that competence, work environment and work motivation had a significant effect on work discipline. Competence, work environment, motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance. Competence, work environment and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance through work discipline. This research can be used as evaluation material for the Bondowoso Regency Environmental Service to improve employee performance.
