Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF THE QUALITY OF HUMAN RESOURCES, INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH ON COMMUNITY WELFARE THROUGH JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN JEMBER REGENCY IN 2016-2021 This study aims to determine whether the quality of human resources, infrastructure and economic growth affect the welfare of people in Jember Regency through employment opportunities as an intervening variable. The theory used in this study consists of regional economics, development economics, community welfare and human resource economics. The data used in this study are secondary data from 2016 to 2021. The data analysis method used is path analysis with the help of SPSS application version 25. The data available in this study was obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jember Regency. The results showed that economic growth affected job opportunities, the quality of human resources, infrastructure and economic growth did not affect the welfare of the people in Jember Regency.
