Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an information system application that can help increase time and cost efficiency in the processing of blood donor data. The Blood Donor Unit of PMI Jember Regency has not used computer-based information systems in donation data management activities or is still conventional, causing administrative employees to experience difficulties, especially in presenting blood donation data reports, blood screening test reports and reports on procurement and blood expenditure. For this reason, it is necessary to have an information system that can assist in its operational activities. The methodology used in writing this thesis is the method of analysis, data collection methods, system design methods. The analytical method is to analyze the need for a blood donation management information system at UDD PMI Jember Regency. The design method is carried out to design a system so that data can be processed quickly and presented in the form of information so that it can accelerate the data processing process. The design of a Web server-based Blood Donor Selection Information system is carried out using PHP, and a MySQL database. Thus, the existence of this Information System Application can assist the administration in processing blood donor data and making reports effectively and efficiently.
