Abstract

ABSTRACT Mining is one of the efforts to develop potential natural resources to be utilized sparingly and optimally for the benefit and welfare of the people, through a series of exploration, business, and utilization of mining products. The welfare of the people is one of the aspects that is quite important to maintain and foster social and economic stability. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a thematic analysis approach and data retrieval techniques through informants. The data used is primary data obtained from the results of interviews based on questionnaires in Puger District. The results of this study illustrate that from the limestone quarry excavation in Mount Sadeng, local residents get better jobs so that they can meet their needs.
