Abstract

ABSTRACT After the issuance of Village Law Number 6 of 2014, villages are no longer objects of national development but become subjects of national development itself. In its implementation, the use of village funds in order to improve welfare for the community is the holding of the Village Cash Labor Intensive program which is targeted by this program are the poor, unemployed, underemployed, and families who have stunted toddlers. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach that aims to provide a clear picture and explanation of the implementation of the Village Cash Intensive program can improve welfare for the community. This study used structured interview techniques to each informant. This research was carried out in Panti Village, Panti District, Jember Regency. The results of this study show that the Village Cash Intensive program is right according to the targets and objectives of the program, and in accordance with the mechanism for implementing the program and also this program has a good impact on the people who participate in this program. However, in the implementation in the field, there are obstacles that can then be overcome by the activity management team and also related village officials.
