Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze how the prediction of bankruptcy that occurs to mining companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The company's financial statements that are processed as a reference for the company's financial health provide us with information on how a company is running and how much bankruptcy risk the company might face, so the method chosen is to use the Altman Z-Score model analysis. The research sample is a mining company listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2013-2017 with a purposive sampling method that uses two criteria so that ten companies are listed. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with library research as the data collection method. The results show Of the ten companies studied, four of them would not be predicted to go bankrupt with good financial conditions. Two companies are in a gray area or prone to Bankruptcy and the remaining four companies are predicted to go bankrupt due to unhealthy financial conditions and for five consecutive years (2013-2017) are in the Bankrupt Zone.
