Abstract

FACTORS AFFECTING THE ABSORPTION OF MANPOWER IN THE BIRD CAGE HOUSEHOLD INDUSTRY IN DAWUHAN MANGLI VILLAGE By : Musdalifah Al Qohiriyah ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the factors that affect the absorption of labor for the bird cage industry in the village of Dawuhan Mangli in 2021. The factors that affect the absorption of labor in this study include capital, raw materials, number of family dependents, income, and the amount of production using multi- ple linear regression research method with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) version 24. From a population of 100 people with an error rate of 15%, so that the sample obtained is 30 respondents. The results showed that the variables of capital, raw materials, number of family dependents, and income had no significant effect on the labor absorption variable. While the variable amount of production has a significant positive effect on the variable employment absorption.
