Abstract

POTENTIAL ANALYSIS OF COASTAL COMMUNITIES IN IMPROVING WELFARE IN KILENSARI VILLAGE, PANARUKAN DISTRICT, SITUBONDO REGENCY By : Usnol Hotima ABSTRAK The background of this research is as the largest archipelagic country with 17,500 islands. The potential of abundant marine processing such as oil and gas mining, coastal waters, and seaweed that can be used as a source of life for the population. This study uses a quantitative method that aims to determine the potential analysis of coastal communities in improving welfare in Kilensari Village, Panarukan District, Situbondo Regency. The data used in this study are primary data collected from the results of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data processing method used the SPSS 24 analysis method. The results showed that the variables of the level of productivity, facilities, number of dependents, and working hours had a positive and significant effect on the welfare level variable.
