Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability (ROE), investment decisions (PER), funding decisions (DER) and dividend policies (DPR) on the value of companies (PBV) in food &beverages sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 20152019. The research sample was chosen based on purposive sampling technique, so that a sample of 6 food &beverages companies was obtained. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that (1) Partial profitability has a significant effect on the value of the company. This suggests that high profitability will make investors think that the company is in favorable condition. (2) Partial investment decisions have no significant effect on the value of the company. This indicates that the company as the object of research has not been able to show maximum profit from investment activities carried out. (3) Partial funding decisions have a significant impact on the value of the company. This means that the company's policy by increasing the use of debt is responded positively by investors who can increase the value of the company. (4) Partial dividend policy shall have no significant effect on the value of the company. This means that the increasing value of dividends is not always followed by the increasing value of the company. (5) Simultaneously, all independent variables profitability, investment decisions, funding decisions and dividend policies have a significant impact on the value of the company.
