Abstract
ABSTRACT This research conducted in PO Ratu Trans Jember. The variables studied were Work Environment (X1), Compensation (X2), Job Satisfaction (Z), and Employee Performance (Y). This study uses path and sobel analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that there is a direct effect of work environment and compensation on job satisfaction at PO Ratu Trans Jember. Then there is a direct effect of job satisfaction on employee performance at PO Ratu Trans Jember. Furthermore, the work environment and compensation variables do not have a direct influence on employee performance at PO Ratu Trans Jember. In the sobel test, there is a direct effect of work environment and compensation on employee performance through job satisfaction of PO Ratu Trans Jember. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Keywords : work environment, compensation, job satisfaction, employee performance
