Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to test empirically the effect of investment knowledge, returns, risk perception, minimum investment capital policy, and technological developments on student investment interest in Jember Regency. This analysis uses independent variables, namely investment knowledge, return, risk perception, minimum investment capital policy, and technological developments on student investment interest in Jember Regency. The dependent variable is interest in investment. The sample of this research is students who are actively investing and listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange Gallery (GIBEI) in Jember Regency. The sample was conducted by using purposive sampling method. The data was collected by using a questionnaire distributed using google form as many as 50 items of the questionnaire. The statistical method uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, by testing the t statistical hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that investment knowledge, minimum investment capital policy, and technological developments have a significant positive effect on investment interest, risk perceptions have a significant negative effect on investment interest, but the return on assignment does not significantly affect investment interest. Simultaneously, investment knowledge, return, risk perception, minimum investment capital policy, and technological developments have a significant effect on student investment interest in Jember Regency.
