Abstract

ABSTRACT The purposes of this research are to know the direct and indirect influence of the variable of current ratio, firm size, asset structure, dividend yield, debt to equity ratio to stock return through profitability. The data used in this research is secondary data which is collected from publication of Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data processing method using path analysis method with the aid of SPSS analysis tool 23. The results of this study show that the ratio of current and firm size directly affect significantly to profitability, other variables have no significant effect on profitability and all the variables directly have no significant effect on stock returns. Protitability is able to mediate current ratio, firm size, asset structure, dividend yield to stock return except debt to equity ratio.
