Abstract

ABSTRACT Admission of new students is an activity that must be done by every school, either from elementary, junior high, high school or vocational school. As well as SMK Negeri 6 Jember which every year new students are increasingly increasing the applicants who register. Until now the process of inputting in the selection of prospective students in SMK Negeri 6 Jember often occur redundancy data (double data), this causes the results of the screening poses are less accurate, then needed an application that can solve the problem in order to provide more efficient service and Provide convenience for the committee in conducting the selection process of prospective students, so that made a Decision Support System. This SAW method provides weighting decision for each attribute. The total score for an alternative by summing the overall multiplication result between the rating (which can cross each attribute) and the weight of each attribute. Decision Support System (SPK) will present the priorities of these candidates, so that will facilitate and assist the school in making decisions Result of research of Decision Support System of New Student Entrepreneur In Office Administration Department using Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW) that is resulted 72 data of registrant with highest rank and 91,6% of result of precision resulted.
