Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the role of women in improving household economy in Krajan Hamlet, Kebonsari Village, Jember Regency. In a modern context, women no longer merely perform domestic functions but also actively participate in economic activities to support family welfare. This study utilizes a qualitative approach with case study methods and purposif sampling techniques. Data is obtained through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation from five female informants working in various sectors such as civil servants and entrepreneurs. Data analysis is performed using NVivo 12 Pro software to identify key themes such as education level, family support, work motivation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in economic participation. The results show that education has a significant impact on women's participation in economic activities. Family support, in particular.
