Abstract

ABSTRACT The Family of Hope Program (PKH) is one of the types of social assistance from the government that aims to help the economy of underprivileged people to realize the welfare of the community. In addition, PKH is an effort to build a social protection system for the poor in order to maintain and improve the social welfare of the poor as well as an effort to cut the poverty chain. This research was conducted to determine the influence of income, health, education, and lifestyle on welfare through the Family of Hope Program (PKH) for the beneficiaries of the program as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach with purposive random sampling technique. The sample used was 85 respondents who were beneficiaries of the family of hope program in tamansari village, wuluhan sub-district, jember regency. In analyzing data, this research uses the path analysis method. This study shows that (1). Income variables do not have a significant effect on PKH. (2). Health, education, lifestyle variables have a significant effect on PKH. (3). Income, health, and lifestyle variables do not have a significant effect on well-being. (4). Educational variables have a significant effect on welfare. (4). Lifestyle variables do not affect well-being through PKH. (5). Variables of income, health, education affect welfare through PKH. (6). PKH variables have a significant effect on the welfare of the pkh program beneficiaries. Keywords: income, health, education, lifestyle, and Welfare.
