Abstract
ABSTRACT Agribusiness is a business activity that operates in the agricultural sector and all related matters, such as trade in harvests. Collecting secondary crops is one of the trading activities by collecting secondary crops such as corn. Although the business activities of secondary crops collectors face various problems such as the quality of the harvest, adequate storage space and transportation, this business continues to run well. The objectives of the study are (1) to analyze the factors that affect the income of secondary crops collectors. (2) to identify the efficiency of secondary crops collectors in carrying out the collection and distribution process in Mojomulyo village. The research method used is qualitative descriptive and uses a phenomenological study approach. The data analysis technique in this study uses the assistance of the Nvivo 12 Pro application with a four-stage data analysis process, namely, data import, data coding, data visualization, and data extraction. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a total of 5 informants. The results of this study are that the income of secondary crops collectors is influenced by several main factors. First, the volume of the harvest greatly determines the amount of goods that can be collected and sold, thus directly affecting income. Second, the fluctuating market price of secondary crops also affects the amount of profit obtained. Operational costs, such as transportation, labor, and storage costs, affect business efficiency and the size of profit margins. In addition, business management capabilities, including marketing strategies and farmer partner networks, are also important factors that affect stability and income growth.
