Abstract

ABSTRACT The Influence of Crew Skills, Safety Equipment Maintenance, Compliance with Safety Regulations, and Crew Coordination on Crew Performance at PT Pelni (PERSERO) in Tanjung Wangi Port. This study aims to analyze the influence of crew skills, safety equipment maintenance, compliance with safety regulations, and crew coordination on crew performance at PT Pelni (Persero) in Tanjung Wangi Port. The research employs a quantitative approach using survey methods with questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that, partially, crew skills (X1), compliance with safety regulations (X3), and crew coordination (X4) do not have a significant impact on crew performance (Y). However, safety equipment maintenance (X2) shows a significant partial influence on crew performance (Y). Meanwhile, simultaneous analysis indicates that the four variables crew skills (X1), safety equipment maintenance (X2), compliance with safety regulations (X3), and crew coordination (X4) collectively have a significant effect on improving crew performance (Y). These findings suggest that while some factors may not be individually significant, the combination of these variables contributes substantially to determining the overall level of crew performance.
