Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the influence of education level, capital, working hours, and number of dependents on the welfare of culinary MSME actors in Ambulu District, with income as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling of 90 respondents, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) through the SmartPLS 3 application. The results show that education level has no effect on income, while capital, working hours, and number of dependents have a significant effect on income. Education level also does not affect welfare, whereas capital, working hours, and number of dependents do. Income does not significantly influence welfare. Education level, capital, working hours, and number of dependents do not affect welfare through income as a mediating variable.
