Abstract

ABSTRACT Implementing Good School Governance is important because it contains 8 principles that are useful for improving school performance. So this research aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of Good School Governance in the management of BOS Funds at SMK Negeri 6 Jember. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data sources were obtained from observation, in-depth interviews with each source, as well as documentation. The sampling technique used Snowball Sampling, with the BOS Fund Treasurer as the key informant. The research results show that the principles of Good School Governance, namely transparency, accountability, accountability, participation, independence, fairness, effectiveness and efficiency, and consensus orientation have been implemented. The achievement of effectiveness indicators shows that the implementation of Good School Governance at SMK Negeri 6 Jember has been carried out well. Apart from that, the principles of Good School Governance have been implemented, although there are still shortcomings in the implementation of the principles of transparency.
