Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the potential of agribusiness commodities in supporting the income of carrot farmers in Krucil Village, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency. Qualitative analysis methods were used to collect data through interviews with farmers, field observations, and literature studies related to carrot farming. The research results show that Krucil Village has significant potential in carrot production, supported by fertile soil conditions and a suitable climate. However, farmers are faced with a number of challenges, including limited access to wider markets, lack of knowledge about modern agricultural practices, and fluctuations in prices and demand. Various strategies have been identified to exploit opportunities and overcome challenges, including improving product quality, market diversification, developing cooperation, technological innovation, and increasing production efficiency. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that carrot farmers in Krucil Village can increase their income, strengthen their economic resilience, and contribute to sustainable agricultural development in the region. This study contributes to local stakeholders, regional governments and organizations involved in the development of the agricultural sector.
