Abstract
ABSTRACT Based on the provided background, the author aims to formulate the research problem as follows: How does the procedure for granting Safe Fast Credit (KCA) based on the classification of collateral items at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) UPC Sukowono Jember, and what are the obstacles in providing Safe Fast Credit (KCA) at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) UPC Sukowono Jember. The objectives of this research are as follows: to understand the procedure for providing Safe Fast Credit (KCA) based on the classification of collateral items at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) UPC Sukowono Jember, and to identify the obstacles in providing Safe Fast Credit (KCA) at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) UPC Sukowono Jember. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research stages encompass pre-fieldwork, fieldwork, and data analysis. The research findings indicate that the KCA provision procedure is based on the established SOP. Requirements include providing ID cards, collateral items, filling out forms, signing agreements, and paying administrative fees. The disbursement process only requires a few minutes after complete documentation. The KCA product is widely favored due to its simplicity and efficiency. Pegadaian intentionally sets a low credit value to avoid losses. The loan amount is determined based on the collateral valuation benchmark. Keywords: Pegadaian, Credit, Collateral, Procedure
