Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF LABOR FORCE COMPOSITION, MINIMUM WAGE AND EDUCATION LEVEL ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN JEMBER REGENCY WITH UNEMPLOYMENT AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE This study aims to determine whether the composition of the labor force, minimum wage and education level affect economic growth in Jember Regency through unemployment intervening variables. The theory in this study consists of human resource economics, regional economics and development economics. The data used in this study is secondary data with a span of 5 years, namely from 2018 to 2022. The data analysis method in this study is path analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The data in this study was obtained from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Jember Regency. The results of this study indicate that there are no variables that affect unemployment and two variables that affect economic growth in Jember regency.
