Abstract
Abstract Pegadaian is a non-bank financial institution in Indonesia, which really helps people when they need money, namely by pawning goods or assets that we own. The purpose of this research is to find out how pawnshops strategy to increase the number of customers and to find out how to develop gold pawning in pawnshops. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of the research found by the researchers were the strategies used by pawnshop managers, namely giving cash, distributing brochures and cheap interest. And the strategy according to the cashier himself is like customers who have pawned, and there are relatives who have not yet pawned, so they invite new customers to pawn at the UPC Kalisat pawn shop, so the strategy used is the strategy of old customers inviting new customers who have never pawned. And as for the proposed strategy to the pawnshop, such as cheap interest, literacy in villages and using an application if you want to pawn, the strategy itself has started to be implemented, and something has already been done.
