Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted at the Urban Store Jember. This study aims to identify and analyze SWOT analysis, namely Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats as a competitive strategy to increase competitiveness in Urban Store Jember bussiness. This study used a descriptive method using a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using data narrative methods, namely interviews (oral and written), observation and documentation. Research on informants is based on the principles of appropriateness and adequacy. The basic principles of informants in this study are 7 people. From the results of this study indicate that there are strengths (Strengths), namely, store capital that is sufficient for business development, strategic store locations, products sold are supplied directly by official distributors, easy to find workers from around the store, guaranteed product quality, weaknesses (Weaknesses): lack of offline promotions, few product models sold, limited product stock, limited choice of accessories, less competitive prices, and opportunities: increased iPhone enthusiasts, can promote offline due to strategic location, the economy is starting to stabilize, can strengthen or increasing cooperation with distributors, and threats: high level of business competition, higher minimum wage in Jember which results in an increase in employee salaries, prices for Apple's latest products are increasingly expensive, taxes are higher.
