Abstract

ABSTRACT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF INVENTORY SYSTEM: A CASE STUDY OF BAKPIA ALMAHIRA, JEMBER. Bakpia Almahira is a manufacturing company engaged in bakpia production. Inventory management is crucial for enhancing productivity and company performance in handling goods and stock items. Currently, the existing inventory system operates manually and has numerous weaknesses and shortcomings, leading to performance obstacles in the procurement process. It has not yet been able to support all the company's desired needs, such as handling processes ranging from item recording to report generation, which can be time�consuming.This research aims to design and build a web-based inventory information system required by Bakpia Almahira. The research employs the system design methods of context diagram, DFD, ERD, and flowchart, utilizing PHP programming language with a MySQL database. The obtained results consist of a web-based inventory application that can be accessed online, facilitating users across multiple platforms. Keywords: Inventory System, PHP, MySQL Database.
