Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of export and import commodities on the level of social welfare in Jember Regency. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method and also in this study using several tests including: Path Analysis, Hypothesis t Test, and Sobel Test. In this study using secondary data, data obtained from the Jember Customs Office and BPS East Java and BPS Jember Regency. Based on the test results processed, the results of this study are: (1) Imported commodities do not affect economic growth. (2) export commodities affect economic growth. (3) Import and export commodities affect the level of people's welfare. (5) economic growth affects the level of social welfare. (6) Imported commodities do not affect the level of social welfare through economic growth. (7) Export commodities affect the level of social welfare through economic growth.
